  Proper Usage of Upper Arm BP Monitor:

  • Wear the arm cuff properly. Place the arm cuff on your LEFT upper arm with at least two (2) cm allowance from the antecubital fossa, or the front side of the elbow. Do not place it too tightly, make sure that you can still fit two fingers while the arm cuff is on. Remember that the hose of the arm cuff should be facing up.
  • Connect the arm cuff to your bp monitor. Make sure that the hose is securely placed.
  • Add a power supply. You can either use 4 AA Alkaline batteries, or the USB connector provided and connect it to a laptop, desktop PC, power bank, or a mobile charger.
  • Sit properly and place your left arm on the table, make sure that the arm cuff is on the same level as your heart or chest.
  • Press the Start/Stop button. The BP monitor will now start pumping air into your arm cuff. Remain calm and sit still while taking your blood pressure. Avoid any movement or talking to prevent miscalculations or errors while measuring.
  • You can view your results after a minute.
  • For more accurate results, it is suggested to measure BP two more times with at least 3 minute interval between each measurement, and then view the average 3x result by pressing on the [MEM] button while the device is off. You will notice an [AVG] icon, it means that the device is currently displaying the average of your latest 3 measurement results.
  
  

  E - 1	Weak signal or pressure suddenly changed. (Wrap the cuff properly /  Re-measure the correct way)
  E - 2	External strong disturbance. (When near a mobile phone or other high radiant device, the measurement will fail / Sit still and refrain from talking when measuring)
  E - 3	An error appears during the process of inflating. (Wrap the cuff properly / Make sure that the hose is properly inserted in the unit / Re-measure)
  E - 5	Abnormal blood pressure (Repeat measurement after relaxing for 30 mins. If you get an unusual reading for 3 times, please contact your doctor)
